The lush green forests of Kumaon are a perfect home to many birds. To witness these natural gems, Asian Adventures, in collaboration with Global Wildlife Fair, organised the Pangot Earth Walk on 14 December 2025. Being led by Jagjeewan S. Dhami, the walk was a panoramic trail from Pangot to Kilbury Forest. Towards the beginning, the group spotted birds like the Green-backed Tit and Streaked Laughing Thrush. The area is covered with oaks and rhododendrons; hence, it is essential to understand the ecosystem of the region in order to understand what birds live here.

He explained how the ecosystem operates in the region and how the micro-systems that operate within the forests actually play a huge role in defining the biodiversity in the area. Slaty-headed Parakeet, House Sparrow and Rufous Sibia were the next birds spotted. The participants were mesmerised by the coherent sounds of the birds and the silence. The birds' local habitat and breeding season were inquired about by the participants. When the two-hour trail ended, no one had a clue, as the trail was so immersive. The walk ended on a high note with the group spotting around 10 different species of birds.
