Guided by expert naturalists and local conservation enthusiasts, this immersive experience invites participants to discover the fascinating world of Baya Weavers and other wetland birds thriving within one of NCR’s most important birding destinations.
As the wetlands come alive with birdsong and activity, participants will have the opportunity to observe the remarkable nesting behaviour of weaver birds, along with a variety of resident and seasonal wetland species. Whether you are a beginner, birder, photographer, student, or nature enthusiast, this walk offers a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and reconnect with nature.
Getting There
Location: Dhanauri Wetland, Uttar Pradesh
Nearest Metro Station: Knowledge Park II (Aqua Line). From the metro, you can hire a cab or auto for a 20-30-minute ride to the Dhanauri Wetland.
Driving Directions: If driving, head towards Greater Noida and take the Yamuna Expressway. Follow signs for the Dhanauri Wetland, which is located near Rabupura Road. Parking is available at the meeting point.
Landmark: Look for Dhanauri Government Primary School, adjacent to the wetland area.
