As March advances, the forests come alive with heightened bird activity, melodic calls, and vibrant movements across oak and pine canopies. This guided nature walk is thoughtfully designed for beginners, families, students, photographers, and anyone who wishes to experience the magic of Himalayan birdlife at an easy and enjoyable pace.

Led by naturalist Kundan Kumar, the walk begins from Jungle Lore Birding Lodge and takes you through peaceful forest trails rich in avian diversity. Participants will observe common Himalayan forest birds, understand early-spring behaviour patterns, and learn to identify species by their calls, flight style, and feeding behaviour, while appreciating the ecological importance of mountain ecosystems.
