The best way to keep one’s employees happy is to provide them with immersive experiences that refresh their minds. So when Populous, a leading architecture firm in the country, had to provide such an experience to its employees, their first choice was Asian Adventures and the Global Wildlife Fair. The Earth Walks, which is an initiative by the two, has well established itself for immersive nature walks throughout the different regions in the country. Populous choosing Earth Walks for an immersive birdwatching experience was a big achievement for Earth Walks, as the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Ahmedabad, which is a product created by Populous, is all set to host the World Police and Fire Games in 2029 and the Commonwealth Games in 2030.
The walk began with all the participants meeting at the designated location, and the walk leader explaining the lesser-known pathways in the park. The participants were amazed hearing that, because with all the hustle and bustle in Sunder Nursery, they couldn't believe that such quiet avenues existed within the park. He further explained a bit about the history of the park, which was another fascinating aspect for the participants, as with all the cafes and visual museums that are situated in and around the park, it doesn't appear to be like a place with a historical background. The original name of the park was Azim Bagh or Bagh-e-Azim, and it was the creation of the Mughals in the 16th century. Situated on the old Grand Trunk Road, the park is home to 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

As the walk began, the first sighting became the white-throated Kingfisher, and some participants wanted to enquire if there were more types of Kingfishers, since he had mentioned this one as the white-throated specifically. He explained that there are many kingfishers, and it gets its specific name from the white patch that is present near its throat. Some participants who were carrying a carrying binoculars observed the bird for a long time, because of the different combinations of colours they could see in it. One of them even acknowledged that in the fast-paced life of today, it practically becomes impossible to pause and look at the beauty of species so minutely.

Further on the walk, while walking through one of the forested paths in the park, a peacock was spotted, and the walk leader asked the participants to be cautious, as the presence of the peacocks could act as a clear sign that snakes would be nearby too and joked about no hospital being nearby. The jest soon converted into a warning, as when one participant was going to take a picture of the peacock with the camera, the security warned him not to do so, as the specific area is laced with snakes that are deadly in nature. What became the most exciting part of the walk was tracing the species and addressing the myths associated with them in the most enjoyable way possible, by Dr Kalra. Overall, the walk was a huge success, where participants enjoyed being out in nature, and the cool morning at Noida just acted as the perfect backdrop for the walk to happen.
