Join us on the morning of December 14, 2025 (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM) for the Birds of Dhanauri Island Walk. Led by naturalist Deepak Kumar, this two-hour guided walk offers a wonderful opportunity to explore one of NCR’s most important wetland habitats, known for its rich bird diversity and scenic landscape.
As the wetland awakens, observe a variety of resident and migratory birds, their behaviours, movements, calls, and interactions within the ecosystem. This slow-paced, observation-focused walk helps deepen your understanding of birdlife, wetland ecology, and mindful nature observation.
Getting There
Location: Dhanauri Wetland, Uttar Pradesh
Nearest Metro Station: Knowledge Park II (Aqua Line). From the metro, you can hire a cab or auto for a 20-30 minute ride to the Dhanauri Wetland.
Driving Directions: If driving, head towards Greater Noida and take the Yamuna Expressway. Follow signs for the Dhanauri Wetland, located near Rabupura Road. Parking is available at the meeting point.
Landmark: Look for Dhanauri Government Primary School, adjacent to the wetland area.
